International Coastal Cleanup Day 21 September 2019

Various UNESCO Clubs undertook beach cleanup activities as part of International Coastal Cleanup Day 21 September 2019.

Activities were undertaken by
DeCarteret College UNESCO Club at Alligator Pond, St Elizabeth;
UWI UNESCO Club at Palisadoes Go Kart Track
Ardenne Prep, YWCA with HEART Trust/NTA at Hellshire.
Our recently arrived German intern, Annika Anderer assisted at Hellshire
JNC-UNESCO Youth Committee Ambassadors and Volunteers along with the Hon Minister in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, Hon Pearnel Charles, did a fantastic job for International Coastal Clean up Day at Rocky Point Beach in Clarendon
