Jamaican selected as panelist for 25th Anniversary of the UNESCO/China (the Great Wall) Co-sponsored fellowship.

She was invited as one of the former fellows of the Programme to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the UNESCO/China (the Great Wall) Co-sponsored fellowship. She was selected as one of the Panelists after her entry was read and was interviewed by Skype.
Seven fellow representatives from different country of origin were invited as panelists to the event. Ms Aisha Alexis Subria Thompson was chosen as the representative from Latin America and the Caribbean to share her experience as Great Wall Fellows in the Stakeholders Panel
Dedicated to the 25 anniversary of the Programme, this event will give focus to the good practice and success stories shared by different stakeholders, including the donor government, UNESCO, receiving institutions in China, former beneficiaries and the participating countries.
It will be held on 13 November 2019 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France as a side event of the 40th Session of UNESCO’s General Conference.
