CONGRATULATIONS JAMAICA

Jamaica was today (4 June 2021) elected to the Intergovernmental Committee on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, 2022-.2025. It is a most significant achievement, coming as it does in the UN designated International Year for Creative Economy for Sustainable Development. The rep is David Brown. He is Director: Policy and Research Jamaica Creative, Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport/Global Facilitator for 2003 UNESCO Convention/ Focal Point for 2005 UNESCO Convention
