Youth as Researchers in Jamaica

The UNESCO Youth As Researchers (YAR) global initiative has been launched in the Caribbean. DEADLINE: Sunday, 28 November, 11:59 Jamaica time.

UNESCO is seeking applicants from interested youth who meet the following criteria:

• Aged 18-30 years
• Based in Jamaica
• Completed or undergoing bachelor’s or master’s degrees
• Previous experience in conducting academic research (not required but preferred)
• High work ethics, organizational skills, teamwork
• Demonstrated interest in youth engagement, youth policies, citizen security and/or peacebuilding.
• Capacity to dedicate 5-10 hours per week to work on this initiative
