DeCarteret College UNESCO Club at mock UN Conference

On 17 February the Manchester High UN Youth Student Clubs held a mock model UN Conference under the theme “Women in the 21 century world are marginalised by gender biases and stereotypes”.

DeCarteret College UNESCO Club were among the 6 schools participating (Manchester High (the Host); Monroe College, Ardenne High, Central High and York Castle High). Seven (7) UNESCO members inclusive of Five (5) executive members – Ashanti Samuels, L’Jai Bogle, Diandra Graham, Raheen Elliott and Jeielah Green and two (2) floor members Kobi Cha and Kaleb Suckie, accompanied by a faculty advisor Kemesha Dunn attended the function.
