Extraordinary Educational Ministerial Meeting by UNESCO Santiago, 25-26 Jan 2024

The UNESCO Office for the Caribbean was represented in Santiago during the Extraordinary Educational Ministerial Meeting which was held Jan 25 & 26. The meeting featured discussions on the regional teacher strategy by UNESCO Santiago and a dialogue on the transformation of education chaired by Jamaica’s State Minister of Education.

The “Ministerial Meeting of Education” begins in Santiago, with an urgent call to recover and reactivate the educational systems of Latin America and the Caribbean. Agenda item
