Jada Powell has been selected as a participant of the 12th UNESCO Youth Forum, which will take place online (via Zoom) on Friday 19 November 2021, from 1 p.m.
The Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Honourable Olivia Grange, has been nominated as a Vice President for the UNESCO General Conference scheduled to begin on November 9, 2021 in Paris, France. Minister Grange’s nomination will be ratified at the beginning of the General Conference.

A wrap-up workshop of the project “Community-based inventorying of intangible cultural heritage” was organized in July in Kingston, Jamaica five months after its launching. Since March, members from three communities of Kingston were invited to join capacity building workshops on community-based inventorying and conduct inventorying of their living heritage.

The 11th UNESCO Youth Forum took place in Paris, 18-19 November 2019 under the theme “ Youth Spaces in Action”. The primary aim of this forum was to facilitate experience and knowledge sharing gained from youths who have collaborated with UNESCO on various youth led projects and initiatives.
