International Literacy Day Visibility Exercise

Project Overview

JNC-UNESCO celebrates International Literacy Day on 8 September 2022 in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Region 5, and the Jamaica Library Service. This visibility exercise was at the Church Teachers’ College in Mandeville on the global theme “Transforming Literacy Learning Spaces” and will continue with an exhibition mounted at the St Elizabeth Parish Library, Black River, 12 September-3 October 2022.

ILD 2022 Visibility Exercise: Exhibition in Black River

An exhibition is mounted at the St Elizabeth Parish Library for the period 12 Sept-3 Oct. in which JNC-UNESCO/UNESCO banners and books are being displayed to inform the public on the work that UNESCO is doing in Jamaica in education, culture, sciences, gender, information and communication.
